I do NOT think this is a duplicate of bug #421660. Aside from having
been reported seven months earlier, the symptoms are very different:
#421660 concerns the lack of accessibility of the gksu modal dialog in
general, which can be worked around by enabling "password dialogs as
normal windows" in the Assistive Technologies configuration (at least in
8.10 and 9.04 -- I have not checked since then).
#314250 (this bug) is primarily about crashes and hangs that occur AFTER
using the OnBoard virtual keyboard to obtain elevated priveleges via
gsku.
