I'd be grateful for some clarification, too. So, the hardware is used in 2 different aspects (9204/9205 - QDL/Modem Device) AND the qcserial has to be compiled manually? I use a Thinkpad T410s on Ubuntu 10.04 2.6.32-22-generic.
