Nope, not really :) But it would help to improve the integration of Kubuntu. The alternatives system is nice, but sometimes a hassle to configure without a GUI. And I never knew that there is such a thing as kalternatives until I stumbled upon a blog post recently. If it was installed per default, I would have noticed it in the System Settings immediately. And it wouldn't really add that much to a newly installed system.
Another candidate for being added per default to improve the integration is the KDE dpkg-reconfigure frontend currently under development (can't remeber where I read about it, should land in Debian though once it and the Qt-bindings are finished). -- On Kubuntu, KAlternatives should be installed per default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/579202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
