Binary package hint: synaptic
I ran synaptic on a new installation of Kubuntu Netbook Edition 10.4 and
installed a number of packages including kiten, zangband, nethack-qt,
fbreader and lincity-ng. None of these five packages was added to the
Search and Launch function of the KNE Netbook environment.
I noticed that these packages all come from the universe and multiverse
sections. However, I also installed the bum and gnucash from the outer
regions and both of those show up correctly in the SAL displays.
