when I installed Ubuntu 6.10 (64-bit) on the hard disc an installer crashed after several minutes of copying files onto the disc (it was at 79% in progress). i have: sempron 64 3200+ am2 abit kn9 2x512MB ddr2 667 mhz goodram (tested with memtest) 250gb sata2 western digital dvd-rw sata and ide (system was booted from dvd ide; from dvd sata installation crashed before loading X server) gf 7300gt 128mb ddr3 text from installer: We're sorry; the installer crashed.
