The bug still very annoying and still on Karmic and Lucid, maybe related
with my bug report n° 572865.

For info, it do always error at booting, when my bios start, it enable
but after the system boot, it's disabled due of many errors and conflict
encountered  .

It's a regression, this bug is appear one time after a update in Karmic
and since it always still,

Now i have the last Mainline kernel, so i hope that it will be useful :D

  I run kubuntu karmic 9.10 on x86 64 and from almost one week after a
  crash of kwin and system, when i start the system my USB are enabled and
  detected but when the KDM login page load it disabled my USB like mouse,
  keyboard.
  
  I must many time used the "connect" task to it renabled it and so can
  type my pass.
  
  I have this error about USB in my log:
