Adept has actually been asking me for several weeks if I want to upgrade Kubuntu. I always choose "Yes" and it proceeds to "download and verify" the upgrade tool. Then it asks me to click "Finish" to close Adept and proceed with the upgrade. I click "Finish," nothing happens.
I've added the "proposed" repository mentioned in the article and done the full upgrade.
