Looking back to the original complaint, this has not been fixed. The "change of perspective" acts like opening a 2nd email and removes the temp files. I suspect this is some automatic clean-up associated with the temp file name creation, but as I just mentioned, I don't known much about .net/mono things to say for sure. What has been fixed is the time-out when composing the email.
