To address the dialogue confusion , the preferences option also needs to be renamed:
1: "IBus Preferences" -> "Keyboard Language" [note the word "preferences" should not be used for items in the System>Preferences menu] 2: "IBus daemon is not started. Do you want to start it now?" -> "Keyboard Language Daemon (IBus daemon) has not been started. Do you want to start it now? " We dont want the user to wonder why ibus is listed in the running processes , but want the dialogue to be clear it is about keyboard language preferences. ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- "IBus daemon is not started" message unhelpful https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/423525 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
