I'm having this bug in Lucid. Compiz doesn't work with dual screen on my computer so I have to use metacity instead. Of course, turning compositing off is out of option. I think the delay is caused by the time it takes to create the thumbnails in the alt-tab window. I'm using a crap eeepc so it can take several seconds, if I just had a way to turn them thumbnails off I would be very grateful.
