Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I need to plug in a microphone in my computer and hear back my voice back through the speaker. Even trying out every channel mixer possible (including CLI alsamixer) it is impossible to enable this loopback. I'm able to record the microphone input and even use Skype perfectly, with good audio quality. *Only* loopback/feedback is not working as expected. I'm a teacher and due to a sore throught, I lost my voice. I'm trying to use a up to date Ubuntu 10.04 desktop, a microphone and computer's speakers to amplify my voice but I'm facing this bug. So, It is impossible to have microphone audio loopback/feedback. I've done this procedure before in previous Ubuntu version, so this is a regression. ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: pulseaudio I need to plug in a microphone in my computer and hear back my voice back through the speaker's.
