the only thing I changed is switching from utf8 to iso-8859-1, but i've just checked at the moment by switching back to UT8, and the problem is here again. as workaround, I'm using KDE, where I don't see the gvfs-gdu-volume crashing. However, /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd and /usr/lib/gvfs//gvfs-fuse-daemon are running ok with KDE...
