@kamal - Thanks for all of your hard work on this issue. Unfortunately,
it doesn't look like your patch resolves the issue on a Dell Inspiron
600m. After updating my system as described, I still cannot resume from
suspend. The disk spins up but the screen does not come back and I have
to do a hard reset.
FYI - Just to make sure I have installed the fix correctly, here is the
kernel signature from dmesg:
