Public bug reported: Binary package hint: splashy
There are many reports for this bug, and I have managed to get the package working using a debdiff file from another bug report on this site. However I have created a new report because all the other ones were outdated on the old Ubuntu. My issue is on a clean installation of lucid lynx 64 bit, and I am amazed a fix has not been officially released for a bug that has been around for what has clearly been years now.
