Till, are you sure this is entirely a driver issue? It seems that there's a myriad of printers that suffer from the same symptoms, worked fine in 9.10 but refuse to do anything in 10.04 and have a fancy for blinking. Are they all using them same driver? If not, why is CX11 affected? The OP reported the same problem as everyone else here and almost a month later we're told to just open another ticket? This is critical functionality for a wide range of users with an insanely popular printer line, which strikes a pretty hard blow against Ubuntu as an office OS. The "high" priority label is very pretty and all, but it'd also be great if somebody actually did something about it. This is not a solitary case of somebody being unable to play minesweeper.
