G'day again, Re comment #5: From your original bug description we can see that you are using Ubuntu version 9.10, which is codenamed "Karmic Koala". Ubuntu version 10.04 was released on the 29th April 2010. It is codenamed "Lucid Lynx".

The default program in Ubuntu for viewing and printing PDF files (and Postscript files) is called Evince, although it actually says "Document Viewer" in the Title Bar of the Window.
