I just tried "apport-collect 581574" on teh T500 but it just reported "No additional information collected." So it seems the instructions on how to add appropriate data to an existing bug report on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Filing%20a%20bug%20with %20ubuntu-bug do not work as described.
