Tried the 0.9 from repos and also the 1.0 version. I also installed these packages phonon-backend-gstreamer, phonon-backend-xine, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad. I also tried running it with this command export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 && minitube. The minitube still does not play a thing.
