Nothing happens when I try the key combination. This happens to me on Arch linux on kernel 2.6.33 as soon as I install the plymouth package from AUR as well. No key combination nets me anything requiring a hard reset. Without plymouth installed KMS kicks in no problem, and I don't have the issue. This only happens while plymouth is installed, and it is random when it occurs.
