Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
When I mount a CD/DVD ISO image using the "Archive Mounter" feature of nautilus, and then try to copy files from this mounted image, the file copy will normally hang at some point and I'll realize that the ISO is no longer mounted. Sometimes, all files are copied successfully (even from ISOs that had already demonstrated this bug). However, I can force this problem (i.e. the "random" unmount) to occur by doing any other file copy operation with nautilus, or by mounting another ISO, while copying files from a currently-mounted ISO. The nautilus "File Operations" window remains indefinitely, showing these "hung" copy operations, even if the cancel button is clicked after the fact (the cancel button just stays grayed-out). Other file copies continue to work fine, both during and after the copy from ISO fails. I've never encountered this problem in previous versions of Ubuntu on the same hardware, using the same CD images... it's new to me in Lucid.
