Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: simple-scan

Lucid 64-bit with a Canon MX310:

after the fresh install of Lucid, Simple Scan scans multiple pages from the
scanners paper feed.
but now since some days it always stops after the first page with a message
"Scan failed - error in communicating with the scanner" and the MX310 stops
with an error sign and on the display it says "Scanning". i have to turn off
the Scanner.
