Compile alsa drivers from source and atfer reboot use compiled version (1.0.23 
instead 1.0.22.1)

4. What happened instead
cat /proc/asound/version 
Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.22.1.
Compiled on Apr 29 2010 for kernel 2.6.32-22-generic (SMP).

Download source of alsa-drive, alsa-lib and alsa-utils version 1.0.23. 
Compile it folow this instructions

All steps were no errors
After reboot run command cat /proc/asound/version and output is same as before 
compile from source
