Okay, not a bug with bcmwl, then. You just need to download linux-headers-2.6.34-999 and linux- headers-2.6.34-999-generic from the same place you got linux- image-2.6.34-999-generic. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/MainlineBuilds . The headers won’t be in apt because the image wasn’t in apt either.
Once you get the headers installed you will most likely run into the build failure in bug 580594. Don’t worry, we’re working on it. :-) ** Changed in: bcmwl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- package bcmwl-kernel-source 5.60.48.36+bdcom-0ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: bcmwl kernel module failed to build https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/577136 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
