Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: efax

Trying to send a fax results in 1500 lines, 1500 errors.
Received fax is totally unreadable. This is not just e-fax, but also TKUSR.
Don't know how to use Mgetty.
I use a US Robotics External Message Modem thinking this would solve the
problem og Linmodem crashing everytime there's an upgrade. - It did, but now I
can't send or receive anything.
This fault is with the later versions of Karmic and now with Lucid 10.04 LTS.
Borrowing a Windows computer for a day allowed me to download all received
faxes and messages without any problem. I was also able to test the send
capability. Windows application BVRP shipped with the faxmodem is brilliant!
Why can't someone make the same for Linux - I've had no answer from the US
Robotics MD yet - well, maybe he's busy being taken over by Hewlett Packard.
