Yep, exactly the same for me: happens to me with Lucid 64-bit and Evolution 2.28.3 and I have no any IMAP account, just 3 pop accounts. Now it has happened almost every time I launch Evolution lately. Need to "end process." I tried to change "preview" settings, and now I have *five* "Formatting message..." in the status bar. I can double-click on items in the preview area, and have a window with the message in it correctly open. I try #71 above, but too quick for me.
