** Description changed: Hello. Sometimes my laptop display is unable to set a reasonable brightness. It's completely dimmed and changing brightness doesn't make any difference. It's somewhat according to the description of bug #451282 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/451282) but it isn't as common as their bug seem to be. It was 8 days between this and the last time it occurred and there was multiple suspends/resumes during this time, both with AC and on battery. Using an external display works successfully (correct brightness) and rebooting the system successfully restores the system. + It first occurred sometime between the last beta and final release of + Ubuntu 10.04. + Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 Steps to reproduce: 1. Suspend 2. Resume -- Low brightness (dimmed) on resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/579254 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
