Hi, First, my appologies for the late response.
After changing to the correct XvMC engine, Mythtv seems to playback correctly. Skipping forward also works properly however, skipping backward results in a blank screen (while audio is still ok) This is anoying, but when i quit playback, and restart, it is ok. I'm not sure if this is due to a problem in myth, or in xvmc. My plan is to do a fresh install using the released mythbuntu, (now it is running an updated prerelease), and see how it behaves then.
