The Thunderbird mail and news client has been upgraded to version 3, but the

It would be helpful if the release notes were corrected to reflect that this 
issue appears to primarily affect 64-bit install (I haven't experienced issues 
with Thunderbird 3 and Lightning 1 on a 32-bit x86 since release on January 12, 
2010). BTW even that issues appeared resolved the next day...
