Friends, I have used the usb-creator (0.2.22 reported by synaptic on lucid xubuntu) to create a live usb using xubuntu 10.04 iso image. I was able to successfully boot it up and get to the Xfce desktop manager. I am not able to see the problem you guys are facing.
All the previous trials I did were with xubuntu.
