Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mountall
I'm running a server with huge raid arrays. Not all arrays are activated fast enough to be mounted. A manual mount succeeds because I wait for raid activation. /etc/fstab: [...] LABEL=BACKUP1 /backup1 xfs defaults 0 0 LABEL=BACKUP2 /backup2 xfs defaults 0 0 /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf ARRAY /dev/md3 level=raid6 num-devices=24 UUID=a07ec0f6:d66d69ff:b4d4a053:05ff547e ARRAY /dev/md2 level=raid6 num-devices=24 UUID=ca88ac42:10b54012:b4d4a053:05ff547e # cat /proc/mdstat Personalities : [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid1] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10] md3 : active raid6 sdaq[15] sdam[11] sdal[10] sdaw[21] sdav[20] sdac[1] sdak[9] sdau[19] sdap[14] sdar[16] sday[23] sdae[3] sdab[0] sdao[13] sdas[17] sdad[2] sdan[12] sdai[7] sdax[22] sdat[18] sdah[6] sdaj[8] sdag[5] sdaf[4] 6446794112 blocks level 6, 64k chunk, algorithm 2 [24/24] [UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU] md2 : active raid6 sdy[21] sdw[19] sds[15] sdj[6] sdz[22] sdo[11] sdaa[23] sdx[20] sdv[18] sdm[9] sdu[17] sdt[16] sdr[14] sdq[13] sdp[12] sdn[10] sdl[8] sdk[7] sdi[5] sdh[4] sdg[3] sde[1] sdf[2] sdd[0] 6446794112 blocks level 6, 64k chunk, algorithm 2 [24/24] [UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU] [...] Regards Lars ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: mountall 2.14 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-22.33-server 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-22-server x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon May 10 14:03:40 2010 ProcEnviron: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: mountall ** Affects: mountall (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- filesystem can't be mounted at boot up because of underlying raid not activated yet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578227 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
