yes, I have an asus eeepc 1008ha. By firmware, did you mean BIOS? I logged into windows and and used the ASUS Update tool to try and upgrade the BIOS, but it told me that I already have the latest version 1103 (08/18/2009). Is that what youj meant by firmware? I am quite new to Linux, therefore i might have understood something wrong. Is there a way of upgrading the firmware from ubuntu?
