Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: simple-scan

I have simple-scan 1.0.3 on Lucid (proposed enabled), 64-bit.
Today, I wanted to print a document scanned with simple-scan. Normally, GIMP
prints a picture on the original size, so the printed image has the same size
as the original scanned image.
However, I noticed this was not happening anymore. I believe this is because no
information about dpi is saved, so GIMP cannot retrieve the original size. As
I'm in Windows, I just added 300 dpi (the scan resolution) to the image using
IrfanView. Now, the image is printed on the correct size.

I would like to see simple-scan to save this information automatically.
Is this possible?
