Finally I found the 'bug'. I just learned about a file I didn't know about before.
In /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common was: DISABLED_MODULES="nv" I changed this and the module is in its .../volatile directory. The default file in the package 'linux-restricted-modules-common' has an empty string, so I don't know why this was set to "nv". Maybe the nvidia modules were disabled in edgy?
