Thank you for responding. Firefox 3.6 as installed in ubuntu 10.04. Firefox loads slow, and opens pages slow. All sites open but it takes 20 to 30 sec to finish. I installed the Google Chromium Web Browser and it workes great. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A75, running dual boot 10.04 and xp. I looked at a few forums and it seams this may be a firefox issue. I was running ubuntu 9.10. I did a clean install of 10.04 when this issue came up.
