Public bug reported:

I use Ubuntu 10.04_Desktop and Kubuntu 10.04_Desktop in a multi-boot system.
If I'm not working on it, i send the machine "suspend to RAM" usually four
times a day or more.
The first "suspend to RAM" works quite well. But every second time the machine
hangs.
In Ubuntu the screen went black, the fans are still running, and the Computers
light is on.
In Kubuntu, the screen freezes and doesn't even went black, mouse cursor is
gone.
The machine doesn't respond on keyboard or mouse input.
Then I have to reset it.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
