Public bug reported:

This is my first bug report!

I use Kubuntu since version 7.04, and since then i have problems with my fans
when the machine resumes from suspend to RAM. The fans return on full speed.
Even in the new 10.04.

In 9.04
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi_enforce_resources=lax"
and
sudo update-grub
reboot

worked, but I think this should not be like this.
Can anybody tell me something about the problem?
If there is further information about my system needed, I will give it to you.
The Mainboard is a ABIT Kn8Sli with AMD Athlon64 3700+
