Chris, just to clarify do you experiencing the issue with both, free and fglrx drivers? I haven't tried fglrx yet 'cause of incompatibility with new xorg was reported since alpha. So I'd like to gather more feedbacks from the others before I'll give a try to ATI's proprietary myself. Thanks!
