Sorry,

I tried that solution but either my skills are really too bad (I am one
of those users that like " to drive the car, but have no clue how it
works") and I made a mistake or it was not working I dont know, I
couldn't get it running.

In the meantime my Ubuntu got killed completely out of unknown reasons
on several occasions, and when then the internet crashed I made it easy
for myself and loaded the new Ubuntu 9.04 version. This version is very
stable, internet is finally working again, even the wireless one,
printer is recognised and prints and the players work.

Thats why i didnt do anything anymore - should I have closed something?
Many sorry for not closing the subject.

Kind regards
Dara
