I have installed the Lucid RC (via WUBI) on a Dell M2010 with the
dreaded Dell 350 bluetooth card, and can confirm that the issue has not
been resolved at kernel 2.6.32-22. The Bluetooth light is "happily"
lit, but the keyboard and mouse will not connect. "HCI" commands are
either ignored or return a "no devices" message.

I'd really like to get this "beautiful monster" working with Ubuntu (and
be able to throw away Vista). Some have suggested that Kubuntu has a
better chance of working, I will try that next. The business of using
XP or Vista to "downgrade" something or other is beyond my level of
competence. However, since this is a WUBI installation, Vista is still
available.

Also, the first time I loaded the liveCD of Lucid, Vista was in its
sleeping mode, with the power off, but not "shut down". I was able then
to tease the keyboard and mouse into working. I was elated to find it
working, but alas, it did not continue to do so after an official "shut
down". I might try removing the WUBI installation as it is now, starting
up Vista and putting it into its power off "sleep' mode and then trying
to reinstall the WUBI thing then. Any thoughts of encouragement or
discouragement would be greatly appreciated.

I might also try to find a USB Bluetooth dongle known to work with
Ubuntu, and just plug it in. The cost is very small. D'Link DBT 120
doesn't work either.
