Same here in Lucid 10.04 signal is reported as 80-90% but is very week, it keeps dropping and is too slow to use,I briefly tried it beside the router and it worked fine. please not windows!, does anybody know a possible workaround to boost the signal I tried : sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 11M but no luck, help!!
