*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 569418 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/569418
I still can reproduce the originally reported bug so I am not sure whether it is a duplicate. I am reposting the bug description and re- attaching logs and all other info (I've updated deja-dup and OS since then). ***** Hi, I've been using Deja Dup for several month already however recently it for some reason started "failing with an unknown error". So this might be related to one of the recent releases. The error seems to be occurring when it is "Preparing..." for the back up. It used to display the list of files that it is going to back up however now no files are displayed and it just fails after several seconds of "preparing". Thanks! deja-dup.log: attached in a tar file The log is attached. Also when I run that command, I get many (around 20) identical instances of the following line in terminal ** (deja-dup:7573): CRITICAL **: deja_dup_duplicity_cmp_prefix: assertion `b != NULL' failed deja-dup.gconf: attached in a tar file deja-dup 14.1-0ubuntu0lucid1 duplicity 0.6.08b-0ubuntu2 Ubuntu 10.04 LTS ** Attachment added: "eugene.tar" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47856842/eugene.tar -- Failed with an unknown error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu (via bug 569418). -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
