Same Problem as JJA for me. my /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume seems empty
if I run sudo /usr/sbin/pm-hibernate it hybernates - but doesn't resume. PS: I have an encrypted home from the 9.04 installer. I just upgraded from Karmic to Lucid (final) and hibernate stopped working. I tried some of the workarounds, but with no success.
