I've found that I can start Ubuntu in safe mode and run it in low- graphics mode. This forces my screen to a 4:3 resolution (I have a 16:10 monitor) and a lot of the graphical elements (one of the big selling points, as it were) are not there. Winbook has drivers in Windows format; is there a way to get them to work with Ubuntu?
