I have the same problem since about lucid rc, now I installed the final lucid desktop i386 from scratch. the problem persists. the first synch happend to take about two hours, with 'let's say lucid alpha2' ... now the first synch took more then eight hours and it was only half the way trough (I then had to shutdown the box).
I have about 350 files on ubuntu one, which is 1.8 GB, I'm using a 1.6 MBit dsl line. after restarting/relogin to the the system it takes several hours to rescan the metadata. the syncdaemon.log shows that each metadata needs exactly 2 minutes (120 sec), for about 180 missing files that makes six hours to go, before synchronisation commences. ruder syncdaemon.log attached ** Attachment added: "syncdaemon.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/47373954/syncdaemon.log -- Ubuntu One doesn't synchronize all files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/456629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
