Same problem, using a final release Live CD of Lucid (i386). Enabled "universe" and "multiverse", then installed gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, gstreamer0.10-plugins- ugly, totem-plugins-extra.
