I have just used Tinel's solution, post #13 to "turn on" the Alps touchpad in my A200. It was turned off under Vista. I then clean installed 9.10 and could not enable any function at all from pad or buttons. I reinstalled Vista, turned it on with FN F9 and then reinstalled 9.10. The touchpad & buttons now works and is turn off and on-able using gpointing-device-settings from the repos.
The issue therefore remains in 9.10 -- AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290806 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
