Hm. So we found https://launchpad.net/~francesco-marella/+archive/unstable- evolution which of course isn't unstable. It's the latest upstream release, and since anyone who has a problem with Evo is going to be told to upgrade to stable 2.30, we're going to get a huge number of people *long before lucid+1* using this.
Is there a way we can have a current stable evolution release shipped by Ubuntu? After all, xulrunner has 1.9.1, 1.9.2, etc all present slotted. Maybe we call it "evolution-lts" and "evolution"?
