Yeah the install happens and everything... but when I reboot I just get
a blinking cursor like something is happening but it just stays there.
Yes I made sure that I installed the boot loader on partition 1 of the
RAID array on step 8.  Right now I am trying different approaches with
what you have already listed above Aeudian in different orders and
little variables.  If I have any luck I will report back.

I did find that the latest copy of Gparted LIVE off gparted.org detects
my array without a hiccup.  So that is a tool that I might use later.
But right now Im sticking to fdisk and mkfs methods within the 10.04
live environment to exhaust that first.

Im using an ICH5R, on an ASUS p4p800 board, (yea its pretty old I know).
