My computer (Inspiron 600m) running Ubuntu 10.04 updated from 9.10 is
still affected by this, I can suspend but cannot resume. There is no
flashing capslock, just black screen. Same problem was present in Ubuntu
9.10. Suspend worked just fine OOTB in Ubuntu 9.04.

I have tried suspending while running the system from
ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386 live CD. Same result, the system does not
resume.

I have also installed mainline kernel from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.34-rc6-lucid/
$ uname -a
Linux Ubuntubox 2.6.34-020634rc6-generic #020634rc6 SMP Fri Apr 30 10:09:34 UTC
2010 i686 GNU/Linux
still cannot resume after suspend.

If that matters, I have Ubuntu installed on an encrypted LVM from Ubuntu
9.10 alternate CD and then updated to 10.04. The system hibernates and
recovers properly. Should I provide any additional information?
