Hi, I used the ISL3886 yesterday and surfed couple hours without any problems, there has been quite many updates since I used this last time and had problems so it is possible that it has been fixed, I will continue to test but so far it looks like it is working.
There is still one very small bug, network manager shows signal strenght as 100% all the time which of course is not true.
